Last Minute Thanksgiving Activities for Kids

Thanksgiving is celebrated in many locations around the world at various times of the year. In the United States and Brazil, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. It is held on the second Monday in October in Canada. In the Norfolk Island Territory in Australia, it is celebrated on the last Wednesday of November. The first Thursday in November is recognized as Thanksgiving in Liberia and in Saint Lucia the first Monday in October is their day of celebration. Other countries have similar days for giving thanks for their harvests and gratitude for the many blessings in their lives.
